Many people who go to the gym use sports supplements to increase power. But according to scientists not everyone should use supplements before or after working out. People who do hardcore work outs are the ones who should be using such supplements.
Physiologist from University of California said, ‘Caffeine consumed after and before exercising makes the exercise more effective and different studies have shown it. It makes exercise more easier. It is a number one medicine and works for everyone. ‘
Another effective supplement for working out is Creatine. Expert from Florida State University said , ‘In just 6 seconds of taking the protein, the muscles use it.’
Creatine helps the person who is exercising a lot and it has been proved by half a dozen studies. While working out, Creatine helps the person to release extra energy. Many experts say that people should take the supplement regularly in order to maintain the balance of protein and do heavy exercise.
Another essential supplement is Beta-Alanine which is effective at making muscles strong. According to International Society of Sports Nutrition taking Beta-Alanine for 2 -4 weeks a person can improve his performance by 1-4 minutes. This is also known to get rid of tiredness among aged people.
Experts say that Beta-Alanine and Creatine have no benefit if taken with out hardcore exercise.
Many experts even claim that some supplements of Caffeine, Beta-Alanine and Creatine are extremely sweet and have other compounds mixed in them which are very harmful. These supplements provide more calorie than required. These should be used only under the recommendation of an expert or they can be very h@rmful.
