Actress Jana Kramer agreed to partner with the local creators of the Busy Girl Bangle a hair-tie and bracelet combination the mother and daughter team behind the new business knew they had something special. Debbie Perry and her daughter Lindsay Serfass created their functional yet fashionable Busy Girl Bangle as both a chic accessory and a way to keep a hair tie literally at hand. The bangle is the first product to launch within their new accessories company, Go Girl Designs. Perry, who also has run her own benefits consulting company for the past 18 years, said she has been working with her daughter since she hired her away from the Chamber of Commerce about four years ago. One little thing stood out in the professional environment of her benefits business, Perry said.”When Lindsay started working here, I started noticing how many people do in fact wear hair ties on their arms,” she said. “It’s not a trend, but an expected habit. There had to be a more-attractive way.” It is ironic, according to Serfass. “Lots of times people don’t have them when they need them. They are digging in their purse and they can’t find them,” she said. “My son likes to grab them off my bedside table, and who knows where they’ll end up?”They began to search for a solution about two years ago.
