June 3rd, 2016 :
A team of British glaciologists spent four weeks on Mount Everest's Khumbu Glacier — the world's highest — collecting data on the surface topography and temperature, and measuring rates of melt. Mount Everest, also known in Nepal as Sagarmāthā and in Tibet as Chomolungma, is Earth's highest mountain. It is located in the Mahalangur mountain range in Nepal and Tibet. Its peak is 8,848 metres above sea level.
