INDIA : According Police A 24-year-old girl, who performs at a Kolkata bar on VIP road which connects to the airport, was gang-raped allegedly by four to five persons at Salt Lake's sector-V in a moving vehicle on Sunday night, rekindling memories of the notorious Park Street gang-rape of 2012. Source says This Girl may be Nepali.

The girl, who had gone to a multiplex at sector-V to meet a friend, was waiting on the road for transport when a man approached her and asked her if she was looking for someone. The girl then asked for direction to an address, police said.

Soon after, the man then called up someone and an SUV emerged with three to four persons on board. As the girl got into the car, her co-passengers soon began 'assaulting' her. They allegedly raped her by taking turns in the moving vehicle.
